Your new role:
You will be responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation of industrial initiatives and activities, consistent with Hanwha Defence Australia’s (HDA) Industrial Strategy and associated projects. This role is available as a fixed term contract (Parental leave replacement) through to the 20th of December 2024 with the potential to extend or make full time.
This includes preparing project materials and deliverables, liaising with current and proposed future suppliers to assist in project mobilisation and transfer of technology initiatives, and participating in meetings, workshops and other engagements with internal and external stakeholders.
Your primary areas of responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and ongoing refinement of HDA’s AIC strategies, and assist in the communication, knowledge sharing and implementation of these strategies across HDA and the broader Hanwha Group
- Plan, coordinate and manage AIC program activities (including preparing Contract Deliverables; overseeing and supporting Subcontractor AIC Deliverables; supporting the execution of technology transfer initiatives including actively identifying opportunities for Australian industry, consistent with HDA’s Industrial and AIC strategies
- Coordinate and/or participate in the planning, material development and facilitation of customer facing meetings, workshops and other project activities
- Provide direct and ongoing support to the relevant Project Manager in the execution of Acquisition and Support Contracts with a core focus on the Project AIC Plans and the reporting of Australian Contract Expenditure (ACE) through Excel and Power BI as per customer requirements
About you
As an ideal candidate you will have:
- Current knowledge and experience in Australian defence procurement and industrial policies and processes (including the AIC and Sovereign Industrial Capability programs) will be highly regarded
- The ability to undertake critical analysis to produce strategic insights and develop options that facilitate opportunity identification and problem solving
- Experience in managing data in Microsoft Excel is essential
- Big four experience preferable
- Demonstrated experience in a project/ program delivery
- Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to build rapport among internal and external stakeholders in Australia, Korea and other nations
- Demonstrated interest and strategic understanding of the defence industrial environment and the capability development and growth objectives of various stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, supply chain management or project management are essential.
