AddressI am currently on the hunt for a talented Automation (cloud) Engineer to join my client on upcoming work! They are currently working on some very interesting systems dealing in high-end classified information that concerns various intelligence agencies.
For this position you will need to already have active security clearance – NV1 and OSA/ESC
What your day to day might look like:
- Maintain and develop Infrastructure as Code for a range of different systems.
- Support Java applications running in a Linux environment.
- Performance Tuning.
- Work in a diverse team across a wide range of different technologies and systems.
- Automate processes and building self service capabilities.
- Deliver and build services & technologies including but not limited to Microsoft Azure.
- Lead and co-ordinate cloud development activities between relevant stakeholders and technical resources – both internal and external.
- Periodically participate in collaboration to develop and implement operational improvements.
- Leverage experience with cloud native tools to review metrics and monitor the health/utilisation of agency’s cloud services.
- Maintain skills and contemporary practice in the applicable technology stack
Now about what we are looking for from you:
Mandatory
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (preferably Ansible and ARM).
- Troubleshooting Java applications in a Linux environment or Java Development experience
- Creating & Maintaining automated deployments
- Demonstrated experience, knowledge and understanding of Cloud Implementations, preferably Microsoft Azure PROTECTED cloud environments.
- Extensive experience using Azure IaaS and PaaS technologies
Knowledge of the products in the following technology stack:
- HBase/HDFS (HDInsight), ElasticSearch, Neo4j, Kafka, NiFi, Kibana
- Logstash, GraphQL, Redis, WSO2 Identity Server (or similar), WSO2 API Manager (or similar), PostgreSQL (or similar), React (or similar), Java springboot.
- Azure big data services, Azure AD/ADFS, Azure API Manager, Azure CosmosDB
- ITQSB certification highly desirable.
