Join our vibrant Venue Management team and be a crucial part of delivering exceptional technical services to our clients and hirers. As an AV Operator, you'll play a key role in ensuring high-end technical production service delivery for events held in the Sydney Town Hall and other City of Sydney commercial venues.
Key Responsibilities:
- deliver expert audio, lighting, and vision services for concerts and events, coordinating resources and individuals to ensure seamless operations
- manage and prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume periods and interruptions to meet deadlines
- set up, operate, and pack down audio, vision, and lighting systems for events, conferences, and presentations
- ensure compliance with legislative, industrial, and Work Health and Safety requirements in all duties performed.
Essential Criteria:
- minimum 3 years of professional technical experience in live production, corporate, or events industry
- proficiency in live audio mixing, vision systems operation, and/or lighting operation for events
- experience in live streaming of events and proficiency in presentation software such as PowerPoint, Keynote, and Qlab
- ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and manage expectations effectively
- aptitude for quick thinking and problem-solving of technical issues in a high-pressure environment
- agility and ability to undertake physical work, including working at heights and in confined spaces if necessary
- availability to work within a flexible 24-hour, 7-day roster within the Venue Management Unit.
