Collective Establishments is a hospitality company that currently owns 2 of the most premium venues located in the heart of Melbourne, Baroq House and Bond Melbourne with a third venture in Restaurant/Karaoke recently opened. With the recent rapid expansion of our company, we are seeking a key individual who will be able to lead our team of hospitality all-rounders to success.

Your role will be but not limited to
- Audio Visual Technicians are responsible for the event design from conception through to delivery and completion.
2. Events types may include:
a. Corporate, Exhibitions and Conferences
b. Wedding, Social Events and Celebrations
c. Music, Live Bands, Theater, Nightclubs and Festivals
3. The role of the Audio Visual Technician activities often includes: Maintenance, Setup, Packdown, Operating of Audio, Vision, Lighting and Stage equipment for rehearsals, sound checks, events, shows and live performances
4. Maintaining an up to date maintenance and AV Log of all equipment and working condition
5. Identify equipment that is damaged or no longer working, either service yourself or send to manager for approval to get fixed
6. All repairs must be approved by the manager prior to works beginning
7. Oversee technical riders provided and event requirements for specific
events
8. Liaising with venues management, event staff and clients to ascertain
precise event and technical requirements
9. Provide technical advice, support and solutions for the client and
events team
10. Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment
Prerequisites:

- 1 Years experience in Live Music Setting
2. Extensive understanding of GrandMA software
3. Basic Understanding of Resolume
4. An Audio Visual Technician is required to have:
a. Excellent organizational skills and very high attention to detail
5. Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
6. Proficient ability to set up, pack down, use and maintain technical equipment
7. Time‐management skills and the ability to work unsupervised and under pressure
8. Problem‐solving skills and diplomacy
9. A flexible and adaptable approach
10. Strong customer service ethic and high expectations for quality
11. High standard of team work ethics and interpersonal skills
