About this opportunity:
Drakes is currently looking for a motivated and hard working leader, to join the Bakery Relief Management team, to assist with caretaking our stores in the Brisbane south area.
Reporting directly to the Store Manager, this successful applicant will be responsible for managing a small team, creating rosters, generating orders, completing stock takes + much more!
Working as a part of an enthusiastic team, in a highly competitive supermarket environment, applicants will be expected to demonstrate:
- Fresh food retail knowledge
- Bakery experience is preferred, but not essential
- Ability to travel to stores across South Brisbane and the Gold Coast
- Ability to lead and manage a team
- Ability to order and control costs
- An excellent understanding of gross profit calculations
- Accurate team rostering
- Passion and enthusiasm, with a very "hands on" approach
- Unparalleled commitment to customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to liaise with both team members and management
- A flair for merchandising
- Strong leadership and delegation skills
- Ability to coach, train and performance manage teams
