About the OpportunityWe are looking for a driven and enthusiastic
Banking Coordinator to join the team based in Scoresby. Supporting the finance and store teams, this role provides critical value and key support to the Senior
Banking Coordinator by ensuring Adairs' sales receipts and settlements (for all payment tenders) are banked on a timely manner and accurately reconciled.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:- Ensure all bank reconciliations are completed in a timely manner
- Identify, investigate and put preventative measures in place for fraudulent activities associated with payments from sales
- Collaborate with IT department to resolve any system issues in relation to the daily import or reconciliations
- Assist stores in resolving issues that arise with POS banking transactions within a timely manner
- Ensure all assigned month-end reconciliations are completed within the prescribed time
- Prepare the weekly bank audit report and ensure all cash banking discrepancies are resolved
About You- You have a strong eye for detail and exceptional troubleshooting
- Previous experience with bank reconciliations
- Retail experience is highly desirable
- You are inquisitive by nature and love to seeking solutions
- You have excellent written and verbal communications skills
- You have a knack for planning and are great with your time
