The role
Crown is the ultimate destination for dining experiences, with a vast array of casual offerings to more premium settings. We have something to suit everyone's tastes.
We're seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join the Banquets team.
In this role, you'll provide joyful experiences through your genuine care for guests. As well as:
- Supporting the daily operations of the banquets kitchen, catering for functions from 10 up to 2000 guests which could vary from corporate events, wedding and pop up venues
- providing coaching and leadership to the banquets teams
You'll bring the following:
- Exposure in high volume events and banqueting in a similar role specialising in Asian Cuisine; Mandarin and Cantonese
- Effective leadership skills including the ability to train and mentor your team
- Strong business acumen to assist in the monitoring of food and labour cost
To be successful, you'll be able to:
Work across a 24/7 rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
This role requires Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
