About the role

Gemelli Italian Brisbane is looking for a new Bar Manager to join our team.  You will work closely with the restaurant team to ensure a smooth operation. This position is a rare opportunity and only serious candidates will be considered.  

Duties

• Work closely with restaurant managers to ensure smooth operation
• Lead and train the team of hospitality professionals to deliver exceptional service
• Managing and coordinating the bar operations and staff
• Handling guests requests in a genuine and professional manner
• Doing the weekly roster
• Looking after the daily stock

Skills & Experience

• At least 2 years experience in a Bar Manager, head bartender or bar supervisor position
• Full working rights in Australia - working holiday visa must have at least 1 years validity.
• A calm and professional approach to their job
• Advanced knowledge of bar stock control and ordering
• A talented Mixologist
• Be able to lead a bartending team of up to 8 individuals
• Customer service focused
• Extensive experience training staff
• Extensive wine and beverage service knowledge
• Food knowledge is beneficial however not required
