Bar Manager - Maitre D'

A beautiful beachfront restaurant providing upmarket casual dining, with an extensive wine and cocktail list to match our beachfront location. Season Restaurant is known for amazing food and exceptional customer service.

We are looking for someone who is a natural both on the floor and the bar. Who will thrive in a busy environment and understands the simple perfection of the ultimate cocktail. Someone who is at home in hospitality and is enthusiastic about providing unparalleled customer service.

About this fulltime role and requirements:

To be well equipped for success in this role you will be supported by the General Manager and the Senior Leadership Team. 

For this role you will need:

• The ability to work with and lead a very energetic front of house team.
• Support your colleagues, inspire your team-mates, and be able to create the ultimate guest experience every time.
• A talent for multi-tasking and problem solving.
• Proven organizational skills to prepare and organize the restaurant for a successful service.
• Ensure that the dining room and facilities adhere to health regulations and are clean, functional and are to the standard of the venue.
• Ability to manage a reservations system and be the ultimate Maître d'.
• A strong work ethic.
• Communication is essential to be successful. You will need to be confident, organized and thoughtful in your communication style.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years in the hospitality industry with 3 years minimum at management level in a similar style venue is needed for this role. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of and appreciation for service, front of house operations, cocktails, spirits and wine, and a passion for unparalleled service.
