Husk Farm Distillery is seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager to lead our bustling bar operation and gift shop. Located on our beautiful farm in Tumbulgum, just 15 minutes from Kirra, Husk Farm Distillery is renowned for its premium spirits and warm hospitality.

Position: Bar Manager
Responsibilities:
Smooth, Quick, and Quality Service: Ensure seamless operations and uphold high standards of service excellence at our bar and gift shop.
Stock Control: Oversee inventory management for both the bar and gift shop to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize wastage.
Team Building and Training: Recruit, train, and motivate a team of bartenders and juniors to deliver exceptional service and embody the spirit of Husk Farm Distillery. You will be responsible for managing the roster to a budget.
Profitability Management: Implement strategies to optimize profitability through effective cost management and revenue generation initiatives.
General Bar Operations: Including creation of specials and promotions as directed by the Venue Manager.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience in bar management is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, POS and rostering systems.
- Knowledge of beverage trends.
- Proven experience in inventory management (stocktake) and cost control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Details
- Your roster will be Friday-Tuesday, ~9:30-6pm.
- We work on 40 hours / week contract.s
- Public holidays worked will attract a Day in Lieu as compensation.
- 4 weeks paid annual leave.
- Starting salary will be offered based on your level of experience.
