You will bring an exceptional customer-focus mindset along with the relevant skills, qualifications and experience to support your agile time management, leadership and communication skills.
FULL-TIME FUNCTION MANAGER
Are you an outgoing and well-organised individual with strong problem-solving ability?
This hands-on role will oversee the management and organisation of all daily reservations and event bookings with the aim to maximise the use of the space, while maintaining the individuality of concurrent functions.
Due to our venue's lively and central location, locals and visitors will pop their head in to check out our stunning fit-out and tasty offerings; you will grasp these opportunities to discuss information about our menu, function packages, or simply show them to a table and provide them with on-the-spot table service and a warm invitation to return for more!
You will also be required to:
- Design and/or maintain function assets, including SOPs and F&B package information.
- Liaise directly with prospective customers, taking detailed briefs to truly understand the wants and needs of the client.
- Troubleshoot solutions that work mutually for both the venue and the clients in conceptualising and executing positive experiences.
- Assist with setting up and packing down functions and events to spec, as well as taking the lead on coordinating any additional vendors.
- Follow-up on leads and post-event feedback.
- Be handy with project management software, MS Excel and emails in order to track costs and general logistics.
ABOUT YOU
The successful applicant will bring relevant industry experience along with proven event management skills and/or qualifications. You will have strong time-management ability, coupled with the leadership expertise to successfully oversee the F&B team in their delivery of event expectations and goals.
While not essential, a current RSA and statement of attainment will be highly regarded, or the willingness to gain this qualification upon commencement of the role, if required.
A genuine passion for the Hospitality Industry is a must, with a natural flair for creativity, accountability and respect for your wider team.
