Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all aspects of the bar operation, including staffing, inventory management, and beverage preparation.

2. Develop and maintain a diverse and innovative cocktail menu that aligns with our brand and customer preferences.

3. Train and mentor bar staff to deliver high-quality service and uphold our standards of excellence.

4. Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stocktakes, and place orders to maintain adequate supply levels.

5. Monitor beverage sales and profitability, implement strategies to maximize revenue, and control costs.

6. Ensure compliance with all relevant licensing regulations and health and safety standards.

7. Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.

8. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.

9. Stay updated on industry trends and new developments in mixology to continuously improve our beverage offerings.

10. Collaborate with other departments, such as kitchen and front of house, to coordinate service and ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Bar Manager or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or bar environment.

2. Extensive knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and beverage trends, with a passion for mixology.

3. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

4. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, remaining calm under pressure.

6. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.

7. Tertiary qualifications in hospitality management or related field preferred.

8. Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.

9. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
