About the role
As our Barristers Clerk/Practice Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the smooth operation of our Chambers. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including financial management (accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll), day-to-day management of 10 Barristers and their diaries, liaison with solicitors, court staff, and chambers accountant, supervision of staff, the occasional IT support and event planning.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A strong background in business administration, preferably within the legal sector.
- Experience using MYOB
- Great communication and people skills
- High level of computer literacy
- Successful experience in an office management or supervisory role
