Our client, a leader in the renewable energy sector, is seeking a dedicated and skilled BESS Project Development Manager for its expanding portfolio of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.
As the BESS Project Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our client's renewable energy initiatives and contributing to the growth of sustainable infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end development of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, from conceptualisation to completion.
• Identify potential project sites, assess feasibility, and manage site selection processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, finance professionals, and legal experts for seamless project execution.
• Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks related to BESS projects.
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, regulatory bodies, and local communities.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure on-time, within-budget project delivery.
• Prepare comprehensive project proposals, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay updated with industry developments, technological advancements, and policy changes to ensure project competitiveness and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in renewable energy Project Development, with emphasis on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
• Strong grasp of energy market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and permitting processes.
• Excellent project management skills, adept at handling multiple projects concurrently.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
• Problem-solving mindset and adaptability to evolving project requirements.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools for project management, data analysis, and presentations.
