Reporting to the Director of Operational Excellence, this is an opportunity to work for a market-leading provider of critical maintenance and asset restoration services.
In this role, suitable candidate will define and manage commercial business terms, develop pricing models, and ensure contractual compliance. This will involve collaborating closely with various stakeholders, including the business development team to secure contracts and tenders. The role has responsibilities for procurement of contracts, tenders, compiling of bids, and pricing, whilst building relationships with functional stakeholders, internal/external subject experts and customers. Additionally, you will be responsible for negotiating contracts, managing tender processes, and analysing profitability metrics. You will also negotiate and liaise with Legal on contracts terms, and understand legal and regulatory compliance of contracts and execution. Setting and achieving revenue targets, manage pricing strategies, and optimize profitability are important aspects of the role. You will often need to analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, to develop effective sales strategies.
Suitable candidates will possess experience from more of the "customer side management" and less of "Vendor management", and have experience in managing customer relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving revenue growth. Experience from previous roles in contract management, procurement, or business development are highly desirable. You will have strong negotiation skills and have the ability to successfully close deals and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. Experience in developing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and managing sales pipelines is valuable. You will have a solid understanding of financial principles to analyse sales data, forecasts, and budgets. You will also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
