Due to continued growth, our client our now looking for a Bid Manager to join their team, it's a one-off opportunity!
As the Bid Manager, you will play a crucial role in securing new business opportunities by leading the preparation and submission of winning bids and proposals. My client is looking for a professional with proven experience within the Civil Engineering space.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end bid management process, from initial identification of opportunities to submission of final proposals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, estimators, and business development teams, to develop comprehensive bid strategies.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand client requirements, competitor activity, and market trends.
- Prepare compelling bid documents, ensuring alignment with client specifications, project objectives, and company standards.
- Manage the bid review process, coordinating input from various departments to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to deadlines.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and partners to enhance the company's reputation and competitiveness.
- Continuously evaluate and improve bid processes and templates to streamline efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in bid management within the Civil engineering industry, with a strong track record of successful project wins and writing capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in bid management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
