National Integrated Services is a boutique Integrated Services organization based in Western Sydney.
NIS is looking for a Bid Manager to join the management team to assist in playing a critical role in coordinating and managing the end-to-end bid process for securing contracts and projects within the Security and Integrated services industry.
You will be driving growth and success by composing compelling proposals and bids that captivate and inspire new clients, ultimately contributing to the acquisition of new business opportunities through effective bid management.
Key Responsibility’s
- Led the bid management process from initiation to completion, ensuring timely submission of high-quality bids and proposals.
- Working closely with internal staff, and other stakeholders to develop compelling proposals that address client needs and differentiate the company from competitors.
- Analyse tender documents and assess project scope, technical specifications, and commercial terms to develop comprehensive bid responses.
- Prepare and review bid documentation, including technical proposals, pricing schedules, and commercial terms, ensuring compliance with client requirements.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with bids, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
- Conduct reviews and quality checks on bid documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to company standards.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of bid processes and tools, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide regular updates and reports on bid activities, including status updates, win/loss analysis, and performance metrics.
- Assisting with marketing material and online media, such as LinkedIn content and website updates.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, subcontractors, and partners to gather necessary information and ensure bid requirements are met.
- Lead bid presentations and negotiations with clients to secure contracts and close deals.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in bid management, ideally within the Security or building services industry.
- A strong understanding of security systems, standards, and regulations is highly desirable.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple bids simultaneously.
- 2- 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information clearly and persuasively.
- Experience writing and editing content ensuring a professional tone, accuracy, and brand consistency.
- In-design knowledge; design experience will be considered a plus.
- Meticulous attention to detail, creativity, and use of your initiative.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Liaise with external stakeholders, subcontractors, and partners to gather necessary information and ensure bid requirements are met.
