Our client is a leading Facilities Management business who are growing exponentially. As a result, they are seeking a Bid Writer to join their energetic and high-performing team.
As the Bid Writer, you will be responsible for the effective submission and administration of the tender process. This involves undertaking pre-qualification, tendering and commercial proposals for current and national clients.
Responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for the quality of written documentation, presentations, and all aspects of the bid.
- Ability to produce documentation that is clear, concise, and compelling.
- Work collaboratively with different departments in the business for successful tenders.
- Produce compelling writing materials that demonstrates understanding of the Senior Estimator information and most importantly what the client is looking for.
- Identify business opportunities and perform market research to create new business partnerships and potential programs.
- Prepare a monthly analysis report from Pipeline Report on performance of tender submissions.
- Review daily e-tenders/EOI’s.
- Work closely with the Senior Estimator when preparing draft costing sheets and labour schedules.
- Strong organisational skills; adhering to project timelines, preparing financial and non-financial information for tenders, maintaining pipeline registers of all tender/EOIs applications, and maintain business development folders.
- Request feedback from unsuccessful tenders.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role managing end-to-end bid administration and written returnables.
- Experience in a similar role within a property or facilities management sectors.
- Proven track record of identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Previous experience managing complex Contracts and stakeholder relationships.
