An ASX listed reputable life insurance company based in Melbourne.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will be involved in supporting the Board in company secretarial duties as well as assisting the legal and compliance team with research and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and distributing Board and Committee papers and scheduling and minuting Board and Committee meetings
- Maintain Document Execution Register and the ASX Disclosure Register.
- Assist with preparation for the AGM and other general meetings.
- Arranging onboarding of new non-exec directors including fit and proper checks and letter of appointment.
- Manage annual Board performance assessment process and provide Board information to the finance team for annual reporting.
- Conduct legal research.
Ideal Candidate
- Ideally 5-10 years’ experience as a Board Administrator.
- Financial services experience would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of general/ life insurance and/or the APRA regulatory environment would be desirable but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities.
