BOARDING RESIDENTIAL NIGHT SUPERVISOR
OLSH College Bentleigh is an independent Catholic secondary school for girls with a commitment to the mission of Catholic education. Administered by the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, the College is built on a tradition of more than 86 years of inspiring excellence at the Heart of girls' education.
The College is in it's 12th year of operating a residential program for our Year 9 students at Hartzer Park Burradoo in the Southern Highlands of NSW. We are currently seeking to appoint a Residential Night Supervisor to care for our Year 9 students overnight.
Hartzer Park is a picturesque retreat centre and a residential program that provides our students with the opportunity to celebrate their giftedness, grow in faith, embrace their learning, build positive relationships and teamwork skills, venture beyond their comfort zones, develop confidence and connect with our OLSH history. We are committed to providing an atmosphere of peace and refreshment where each student is made to feel at home in the quiet and tranquil surroundings.
The successful candidate will be involved with night duties. This position is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to experience an alternate Year 9 program. With a spirit of openess of heart and a flexibility to serve our young women, staff and parents the person in this role will live the values of the OLSH proclamation.
The position is scheduled to commence Monday 29 April 2024.
The dates for the 3 groups are scheduled as follows :
- Group 1 - 29 April 2024 - 23 May 2024.
- Group 2 - 3 June 2024 - 27 June 2024
- Group 3 - 15 July 2024 - 8 August 2024 .
It would be suitable for those seeking employment outside of school/business hours.
The successful candidate will:
- Have an understanding of, and commitment to, Catholic education;
- Provide outstanding service to students and staff as required in the role of Night Supervisor
- Have a nurturing approach to students and an ability to care for them with warmth and compassion
A current Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required and a current First Aid qualification would be an advantage.
