Location - Cessnock
Employment Type - Ongoing, Full Time
Salary - $93,295.00-$102,941.00 + Superannuation + Leave Loading

Clerk Grade - 5/6

About the Role

What you'll do

The ideal candidate for this role provides professional management, support and assistance to the residents of a Residential Program for women, in compliance with agency objectives and legislative requirements.

The purpose of the Residential Centre Supervisor is to manage shifts in a centre that accommodates residents subject to community-based orders, who require support and who present with complex challenges and/or needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to Residents and leadership to staff. The duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Shift supervision of residential housing for women transitioning into the community
  • Work as part of a team with a strong operational goal to achieve program outcomes.
  • Provide a high level of leadership and supervision to Residential Centre Assistants
  • Ensure the effective case management of residents in the Centre.
  • Arrange resident support, programs and counselling services as required.

What we're looking for

  • Formal post-secondary educational qualifications and/or experience in welfare related work or social science environment, or significant

experience gained by working in similar related areas is highly desired.

  • Leadership skills and experience
  • High level experience in case management
  • Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain one within 3 months of employment with Corrective Services NSW
  • Current driver's license and preparedness to drive a vehicle while performing the role.
  • Willingness to undertake training relevant to the role
