Our client, a global supplier of precision engineered solutions, requires experienced Boilermaker Welders to join their growing team. They supply engineering solutions to a range of industries including Aerospace, Defence, Rail, Mining and Energy.
The role
As an experienced Boilermaker Welder and reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will become an essential part of the team responsible for all fabrication needs and using your skills to come up with solutions and ideas when required.
- Fabricating and welding all types of specialised mechanical parts
- Performing quality checks to make sure all work is up to standard
- Reading, and interpreting drawings and specifications to accurately create products required
- Rework and repair welded parts and products according to engineering specification changes and check articles with Dye Pen
- Ability to work with management team
- All aspects of OH&S onsite
- Relevant trade qualification
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Solid welding / fabrication background
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Proven commitment to workplace OH&S
- Someone who can follow set guidelines to ensure all quality is achieved
- Crane / Dogging / Forklift licences would be highly regarded
Day shift: Mon - Thurs 6.00am - 2.30pm / Fri 6.00am - 12.00pm, up to $45 per hour
