Metroid Electrical Engineering is a fast-growing family business building custom electrical switchboards for infrastructure projects across Australia, and a certified Great Place to Work.
We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join our finance team, to support the business with accounts record keeping and administrative tasks, ensuring timeliness, accuracy and professionalism.
This will be a Part Time position involving around 3 days per week to begin, with the possibility of increasing if the business requires it.

Successful applicants will have:
- At least 3 years’ experience in bookkeeping and/or accounting
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong computer and spreadsheet skills, experience with Xero highly valued
- Highly productive & disciplined
- Excellent communication skills - excellent written and verbal English
- Ability to work independently and autonomously
Your responsibilities / duties will include:
- Process all incoming supplier invoices and enter in Xero
- Categorise all transactions in correct accounts
- Reconcile all incoming and outgoing payments
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation and lodgement of monthly/quarterly BAS
- Management of accounts payable including reconciling statements and approving supplier payments
- Management of accounts receivable including credit control and following up debtors
Reporting to our CFO.
