We’ve got an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our North Geelong-based progressive and multidisciplinary business within our accounting team. Working alongside the accounting, financial planning, legal and NDIS Plan Management teams, we are on the hunt for another bookkeeper to join this growing team.
About you:
You will have end to end accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll experience. Ideally working with Xero and MYOB.

Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping and Financial Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents.
- Prepare and analyse financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Set up new accounts with suppliers where necessary
Administrative Support:
- Manage general office operations, including maintaining office supplies and equipment.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for staff.
- Support the scheduling of meetings and appointments.
- Participate in meetings, and follow up on tasks and projects assigned
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of company communications.
- Handle incoming calls and emails, responding to inquiries or directing them to the appropriate person.
Data Entry and Record-Keeping:
- Enter financial and non-financial data accurately into relevant systems.
- Maintain organised electronic and physical filing systems.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of company and employee information.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the processes and procedures to increase efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Tech savy and proficiency in using accounting software and tools (e.g. Xero, Google Sheets).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively.
