AddressWe’re growing and need another experienced and talented bookkeeper to join our team. You’ll work 100% remotely. Initially 5-10 hours per week, with the intention that this will increase over time.
- Position: Bookkeeper
- Location: 100% remote
- Hours: Initially 5-10 hours per week, with potential to increase to 25 hours per week for right candidate
- Company Specialization: Legal bookkeeping (specifically trust accounting for law firms)
- Requirements:
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles (debits, credits, payroll)
- Experience with Xero
- Additional bonus for experience in legal settings and familiarity with legal software like Smokeball and LEAP

We are Your Legal Bookkeeper and only do bookkeeping for law firms. We’ll train YOU on the legal stuff – trust accounting and how law firms work is a bit different but its not hard once you understand the basics. We look after and respect our staff and pay you for your experience.
Who are you? You have several years experience in a-z bookkeeping roles, preferably across a range of industries/businesses. You know payroll, accounts payable and receivable, understand GST and GST Free and why we code as we do. You’re a Xero whiz. Bonus points if you’ve already worked in legal and if you have Smokeball and LEAP Legal Software experience.
