Bookkeeper - Asset ManagementOX2 Asset Management (OX2AM) manages renewable energy assets on behalf of its owners (investors). This includes various responsibilities such as proactive performance monitoring, stakeholder management, management of operations and maintenance (O&M) providers and reporting on both operational and financial performance of the assets.
OX2AM continually enhances investment returns for owners, by implementing cost reduction strategies, optimising operations, and actively managing assets to ensure efficient ownership.
The OX2AM Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing financial transactions, assist in preparing management accounts, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. This position will play a crucial part in supporting the financial health and decision-making processes of our projects under management.
Your main responsibilities:Financial Record Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records of the projects under management.
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
Financial Reporting:
- Assist the Finance Manager in preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts.
- Generate financial reports for management and stakeholders.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget variances and provide explanations as needed.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
Financial Analysis:
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Provide insights into financial performance and trends.
Audit Support:
- Coordinate and support external audits.
- Respond to audit inquiries and provide necessary documentation.
New Project Integration:
- Play a key role in integrating financial processes related to new projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
The Bookkeeper role at OX2AM requires a solid understanding of financial principles and practices, including but not limited to, financial transaction management, preparation of management accounts, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Candidates should possess expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting, along with proficiency in relevant software and tools.
Experience with the following systems desirable:
- MS Office suite, advanced Excel
- Utilise accounting software and tools proficiently
- Xero software experience an advantage
- Experience with other ERP systems
