Our Tax and Accounting Practice, Accountancy Plus, is experiencing significant growth and is now looking for a skilled BAS Bookkeeper to join our team. This role may suit a junior accountant that enjoys bookkeeping.
About The Position
As a BAS Bookkeeper at Accountancy Plus, you will play a vital role in managing and preparing BAS statements for our diverse client base. This position requires a detailed-oriented professional who can efficiently handle bookkeeping tasks and contribute to the smooth financial operations of our clients.
Responsibilities include:
- BAS Bookkeeping and preparation for a variety of clients.
- Daily and weekly bookkeeping duties.
- PAYG payroll management and SGC lodgement.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
About You
- Preferably hold a BAS Agent License or working towards it.
- Certification: Cert IV in Bookkeeping and Accounting.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with Supermate is preferred, but not essential.
