Shepard Webster & O’Neill (SWON) established since 1948 & located on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, is seeking a skilled bookkeeper to join our extremely successful team. This part-time position requires two days of work per week with flexible work hours available. You will be working as part of a small tight-knit team from our modern offices here in Frankston.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Managing accounting transactions of our external bookkeeping clients
- Reconciling bank accounts
- Processing payroll including STP & superannuation compliance
- Basic HR administrative tasks
- Reconciliation, preparation & lodgment of BAS & IAS
- Meeting technical standards & deadlines
- Liaising with Accountants for annual accounts & tax queries
- Building & maintaining client relationships over time
- Managing the accounts receivable/accounts payable function for clients
- Demonstrated self checking skills
REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE:
- 3+ years’ solid bookkeeping experience
- Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Diploma in Accounting
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Flexible & adaptable approach
- A desire to learn & work collaboratively as an enthusiastic team player
- Strong technical & organisational skills
REMUNERATION:
- $30.00 - $35.00 per hour depending on experience/qualification
