TCHG is seeking an experienced and dedicated Bookkeeper to join their team in a full-time capacity. Please note, you will be required to work from the office location, 5 days per week.
As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation across all seven venues. Your responsibilities will include payroll, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports.
You will Possess:
- Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting, within the hospitality industry (preferred)
- Previous experience in payroll
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero) and Microsoft Excel is vital
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Tertiary qualification in a Finance-related discipline is advantageous
Your Responsibilities:
- End to end payroll across multiple venues, including but not limited to:
- reviewing employee time sheets
- processing expense claims
- preparing quarterly superannuation payments
- responding to employee queries regarding their pays
- Accounts receivable duties
- Accounts payable duties and ensuring timely payment and processing of invoices
- Preparation of BAS
- Reconciliations
- Assist with managing and delegating tasks to team members within the finance team, as required
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Generate financial reports for management review
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Assist with ad hoc duties, as required
