Position Overview: We're on the lookout for a dedicated bookkeeper who shares our passion for meaningful client relationships. As a full-time member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of our clients' businesses while making a genuine connection with each one. Qualifications & Experience:

• Certificate IV in Bookkeeping & Accounting or higher, or currently studying with relevant experience
• A minimum of 3 years of experience working with multiple clients in a bookkeeping capacity
• Xero certification is a must-have, as we're proud to be a Xero-only practice
• Proven expertise in BAS, payroll, and bookkeeping
• Outstanding communication skills and a genuine desire to build lasting client relationships

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Build relationships with our clients understanding their business needs to help guide them to reach their business goals
• Welcome new clients with open arms, guiding them through the onboarding process with ease
• Help our clients harness the power of Xero by setting up, training and integrating the platform to other software
• Keep the financial wheels turning smoothly by handling and reviewing bookkeeping, payroll and compliance matters such as BAS, TPAR, STP, worker's compensation, and payroll tax with precision and care
• Take pride in ensuring accuracy and compliance by meticulously reviewing your work and others

Please note: this position is not open to contractors. We are actively seeking a committed long-term employee who will grow with KBAS Bookkeeping to assume a leadership role. While we offer some flexibility in working hours and the opportunity for remote work, we do require a minimum commitment of 30 hours per week, with the expectation that the majority of these hours will be fulfilled at our office in Caloundra.
