About the Role
We are hiring for an experienced bookkeeper to join our Finance team in Springvale on a preferable fulltime basis or for the right individual would accommodate part-time basis (must include Fridays). Our clients are diverse – from arcade game enthusiasts building their collection, to national hospitality groups growing their top line. We import, install, and repair a variety of arcade equipment machines including pinballs, claw and driving games. The bookkeeper reports into the Finance Team Leader and ensures records are kept up to date and reconciled.
Your key responsibilities will be:
• Processing daily debtor payments
• Maintaining the Aged Debtors ledger
• Processing weekly store sales receipts
• Inputting creditor invoices into our system
• Maintaining the Aged Creditors ledger
• Reconciling and processing daily bank and credit card transactions
• Costing inward goods e.g. machinery and spare parts
• Helping the wider team with adhoc administrative tasks as required
Selection Criteria
In order to be successful for this opportunity, you will bring:
• Must have MYOB EXO ERP (preferred) or SAP B1 experience (note EXO system is not MYOB AccountRight, MYOB Premier or MYOB Premier Plus).
• Min 2 years’ experience in accounts/bookkeeping role.
• Professional communication skills with fluent English (both written and spoken)
• Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Unrestricted right to work in Australia
• A qualification in accounting while not essential, is desirable (diploma or above)
• Exposure to the goods importation process is desirable
