The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing essential support to our financial operations.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
• Bookkeeping including managing debtors, creditors, and payroll.
• Perform data entry tasks to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Handle financial transactions and record-keeping for multiple remote sites.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth financial operations.
• Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
• Assisting projects and ad-hoc tasks as required.
• Stay updated on industry trends and accounting best practices.
About You:
• Positive and pro-active approach
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook
• Enthusiasm to learn and contribute ideas for ongoing improvement
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal stakeholders.
