We are a collaborative team, which is one of the largest mid-tiers in the Territory and are now seeking a personable Bookkeeper to join the team in Darwin!
About the role
In this role, you will partner with a diverse client base, focusing on accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll processing. This position presents as a great opportunity to challenge yourself and enhance your career in an autonomous role.
You will be responsible for a broad range of Bookkeeping tasks including, but not limited to:
- Accounts receivable/payable
- Debt collection
- Preparing Profit and Loss and Balance Sheets using Xero and MYOB
- End to end payroll processing and reconciliations including superannuation, payroll tax and WorkCover
- Preparation of BAS/IAS statements for review and lodgement
About you
The ideal candidate will demonstrate established experience, performing a similar role. You will possess a strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs, particularly Excel. Furthermore, the successful candidate will be personable and demonstrate confident written and verbal communication skills.
Whilst not essential, it will be advantageous for candidates to demonstrate a basic understanding of Awards & the interaction between minimum wages and classifications.
