Magnum Australia Pty Ltd is a long established manufacturing business who are currently celebrating 50 years as a proud Australian owned and operated business. Magnum Australia are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts person for their machining business in Bayswater Victoria. The position is part time 10am to 3pm Monday to Friday.
Qualifications & experience
- Prior experience in an administrative/bookkeeping role is essential
- Understanding of accounting principles and familiarity with accounting software such as MYOB is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organisational and time-management abilities.
- Good attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook. Ability to multitask and work effectively with good attention to detail and accuracy.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Answer incoming telephone calls.
- Data entry-Record day-to-day transactions and complete the posting process.
- Verify that transactions are recorded correctly.
- Raise Purchase Orders and Sales Orders.
- Process accounts payable and receivable.
- Maintain and update accounting records and files
- Assist with payroll processing.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure smooth admin & financial operations.
- Perform administrative duties as needed to support the finance department.
