We are seeking an enterprising Senior Brand Manager to join the team at our head office in Clayton. Leading our largest portfolio brand Bosch, this challenging and rewarding role will be responsible for the brand strategy, tactical program planning and activity implementation.
Job description
Reporting to the Head of Brand, this role focuses on the awareness and orientation phase of the consumer journey. The role is responsible for using appropriate channels to engage well-defined audiences with the correct brand messaging, in order to secure a clear brand position in the market. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, experienced marketer with a strong work ethic, able to lead and coach team members, proficient in effective resource planning and deliver on multiple projects and deadlines.
Key responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies that align with company objectives and resonate with target audiences
• Lead and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, events, and traditional advertising
• Analyse and interpret market data and consumer insights to identify market trends, anticipate consumer needs and negotiate the competitive landscape
• Collaborate with product development teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment with product offerings
• Closely manage brand budgets effectively, tracking expenses and optimizing investments to maximize ROI as much as possible
• Measure and analyse the performance of brand initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
• Liaising with the headquarters overseas on a regular basis to ensure consistency in brand messaging
Skills and essential requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in brand management, advantageous if it’s in a technology or engineering-related industry
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies and marketing campaigns for a reputable brand
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders
• Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
• You take initiative and can make informed decisions when required
• Able to effectively work in collaboration with a team, and comfortable working autonomously
