Silverstrand is seeking a Branch Manager to become a key part in shaping the future of our Civil Plant Hire Company.
About the Role:
Reporting to the General Manager the Branch Manager would be responsible for:
- Working on the strategic growth and direction of the company, implementing and developing future planning of operational functionality.
- Strong Business Development management with the focus on engaging new clients and servicing current clients.
- Procurement of plant using Capex.
- Ability to understand and formulate utilisation trends, fuel trends, R&M trends.
- Market Gap analyst understanding with the ability to focus on bringing new ideas forward.
- Experience with managing and organising plant and equipment.
- Provide strong leadership and create high delivering excellence to clients.
- Financial management of Profit and Loss, monitoring and reporting to the General Manager and Managing Director.
- Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities in the market.
- Work closely with the Logistics Supervisor in the organisation of labour, plant, machinery, equipment, and materials to meet project requirements.
- Work with the clients to resolve technical, commercial, and scheduling issues.
- Review and approve supplier invoices and monthly claims.
- Ensuring plant hire projects are managed on budget, completed on time, and delivered to a high quality.
- Experience with cost and quality control, procurement, and supplier engagement.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Experience in a previous management position in a Plant Hire/ Civil industry.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within a Plant Hire Company.
- Knowledge of different plant & equipment.
- Industry connections.
- Excellent Financial Management skills.
