Branch Manager

Silverstrand is seeking a Branch Manager to become a key part in shaping the future of our Civil Plant Hire Company.

About the Role:

Reporting to the General Manager the Branch Manager would be responsible for:

• Working on the strategic growth and direction of the company, implementing and developing future planning of operational functionality.
• Strong Business Development management with the focus on engaging new clients and servicing current clients.
• Procurement of plant using Capex.
• Ability to understand and formulate utilisation trends, fuel trends, R&M trends.
• Market Gap analyst understanding with the ability to focus on bringing new ideas forward.
• Experience with managing and organising plant and equipment.
• Provide strong leadership and create high delivering excellence to clients.
• Financial management of Profit and Loss, monitoring and reporting to the General Manager and Managing Director.
• Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities in the market.
• Work closely with the Logistics Supervisor in the organisation of labour, plant, machinery, equipment, and materials to meet project requirements.
• Work with the clients to resolve technical, commercial, and scheduling issues.
• Review and approve supplier invoices and monthly claims.
• Ensuring plant hire projects are managed on budget, completed on time, and delivered to a high quality.
• Experience with cost and quality control, procurement, and supplier engagement.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Experience in a previous management position in a Plant Hire/ Civil industry.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience within a Plant Hire Company.
• Knowledge of different plant & equipment.
• Industry connections.
• Excellent Financial Management skills.
