Sales Manager

Sydney Tools is Australian market leader for industrial tools, consumables, and accessories, supplying premium quality tools and consumables to all industries including the construction, mining, agriculture, and automotive industry. Our purpose is to provide service, support and technical expertise to lead to customer satisfaction. 
Founded in 2001 with 1 retail store, the business now spans across all states in Australia with nearly 93 retail stores to ensure customer satisfaction and reliable products to all consumers in Australia. 
 
About this Role:
Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a Sales Manager to join our Head Office, based in Roselands. You will be reporting directly to senior management & other key stakeholders of the business. The role includes but is not limited to:

• Engage with the marketing and merchandising team to drive sales campaigns.
• Monitor competitor activity to ensure our offers and prices are market leading.
• Review and maintain stock holdings frequently for new and existing products, major sale events and new store grand openings.
• Monitor sales data for each brand to ensure sales targets and budgets are being met.
• Engage with the sales-training manager to ensure sales staff are receiving appropriate training.
• Negotiate with suppliers for

  • Marketing and rebate support
  • Exclusive offers
  • Stock management of new and obsolete products.

Do you possess the below skills?

• Strong communion and negotiations skills with the ability to influence and inspire others.
• Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience as a Sales Manager or similar.
• Excellent time management skills. 
• Strong and passionate work ethics
• Demonstrated experience in a similar industry is advantageous
