Job description

About Us
There’s an eternal optimist in all of us who dreams of a big, life-changing lottery win.

At Oz Lotteries’ we exist to make this a reality! We bring Australia joy and delight, with more chances to win more often. We offer everyday Aussies the chance to dream and win on a wide range of commercial and charity lotteries. Oh, and we are proudly Aussie-owned and operated!

Owned by ASX-listed company Jumbo Interactive, Oz Lotteries has operated as an e-commerce lottery retailer since 2005 and was one of the first online retailers. We have grown over 18 years to have a strong player base who chose our convenient and trustworthy platform to play both popular commercial lotteries such as Powerball and Oz Lotto and charity lotteries, which was (and still is) a point of difference for our brand.

What sets us apart is our unwavering focus on creating possibilities. Staying true to our Aussie roots, we are motivated to innovate and perform, with a proportion of ticket sales going back to Australian charities or the Government. With joy and delight at the centre of our brand, we believe in fostering an environment where talented people can feel empowered to innovate and grow while having fun.

What will you be doing?
Oz Lotteries is embarking on an exciting transformational journey. Over time, our competitors’ digital experiences have caught up. Now, Oz Lotteries is reinventing itself to not only offer a seamless experience but also a new benchmark in excitement, fun, and pleasure in play.

To ensure we live up to our purpose of injecting fun into the everyday, we are changing how we go to market. We are starting with a refreshed brand due to launch in mid-2024, followed by a range of exciting product initiatives. You will play a crucial role in this journey. In the role of Brand and Content Manager, you will be responsible for implementing the new brand strategy, creating compelling content, and building a consistent brand identity across all aspects of the business.

As part of your role, you will:

  • Embed a newly developed brand strategy for Oz Lotteries into the market (go-live mid-2024), which includes integrating the brand positioning, messaging, visual identity, and tone of voice business-wide.
  • Conduct market research and gather customer insights to review the new brand strategy performance.
  • Create and curate engaging content for various marketing channels per the brand's style guide.
  • Lead the brand campaign strategy and implementation in collaboration with the Head of Marketing and Principal Digital Marketer to achieve department KPIs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that promote the Brand and drive customer engagement.
  • Own and maintain Oz Lotteries brand guidelines, by establishing governance processes and ensuring all marketing materials, communications, and touchpoints adhere to the brand standards.
  • Collaborate with design teams to create visual assets that align with the brand's visual identity, including logos, graphics, and multimedia content.
  • Manage Oz Lotteries' organic social media presence, including content planning, scheduling, community management, and performance tracking.
  • Monitor and analyse brand performance, track brand metrics, and provide regular reports to measure the success of brand initiatives and campaigns.
  • Provide guidance and support to other departments or team members on brand-related matters to ensure consistency across all brand touchpoints.
We would like you to bring to this role:
  • Proven experience in brand management, content creation, and marketing communications, with a strong track record of developing and implementing successful brand strategies.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and innovatively to shape a brand from scratch.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and engaging content for various marketing channels.
  • Proficient in using social media platforms, content management systems, and other marketing tools.
  • Proven experience with brand tracking with strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels, SEO, and SEM strategies is a plus.
Salary: $120,000 - $140,000
