About the Role
Are you a passionate Brand Manager? This is a great opportunity for you to work for a well-known household brand in the FMCG industry. Our ideal candidate will have an abundance of positive energy and a ‘can do’ spirit to drive business growth and build our brands nationally.
This role will work with a team of passionate marketing individuals, report to the Marketing Manager. You will develop and drive strategies, execution plans and ultimately responsible for the commercial P&L success of the HANDEE and DEEKO brands.
What you will be doing:
· Developing the HANDEE brand audit and brand strategy under the guidance and coaching of the MM.
· Executing the HANDEE brand plans within Australia.
· Developing the communications strategy (creative and media) executing against the strategy, handling theday to day management of the agenciesand reporting against agreed KPIs.
· Leading brand health reporting, measurement strategy, insight detection and application within the broader business.
· Developing the HANDEE NPD strategy, funnel and brand architecture strategy under the guidance and coaching of the MM. The BM will execute against the strategy and lead NPD projects.
· The role will be responsible for the HANDEE A&P budget.
· The BM will exhibit commercial acumen throughout all brand activity.
What will make you successful:
3+ Years at BM level, ideally in fast-moving consumer goods or consumer durables company.
Ideally, would have had exposure to all aspects of the marketing mix including: consumer research (insight generation), communication development, media planning, new product development, proven strategic planning ability as well as experience in dealing with (and managing) external agencies and other service providers.
Proven project management skills and strong business acumen (ability to manage >$1m A&P budgets). Ability to work in teams and taking leadership in teams.
Desirable: In addition to or as part of the above:
Some experience in Australian manufacturing, demonstrating how to leverage the operational footprint.
