We are seeking a dynamic and experienced marketing communications leader with diverse skills across brand management, production, and marketing advisory services. If you are a strategic thinker, a persuasive influencer, and an excellent communicator, this may be the role for you!
About the role
As the Brand, Marketing and Production Specialist, you will oversee our in-house creative services, production, and marketing advisory service. You will hold a key leadership position in Council’s Strategic Communications branch and play a pivotal role in driving initiatives to transform and modernise our services.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage our creative services and editorial teams, providing strategic oversight for the City of Boroondara’s corporate brand and publications.
- Oversee the production of key communication materials, including the Boroondara Bulletin and Council ward newsletters.
- Develop and deliver continuous improvement and service enhancement projects.
- Actively participate in implementing strategic communications initiatives across Council.
- Provide direction for communications, engagement, and content and channel management plans.
The be successful in this role, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work professionally with councillors, employees, and external stakeholders. Knowledge of local government processes and structures is advantageous, but not mandatory.
