Breakfast Chef - 6Am - 2Pm Elements Of Byron

Elements of Byron is an award winning beach front resort nestled on 50 acres of absolute beach front paradise. Lead by our fantastic Executive Chef, Ebony, we have a large team with a great team culture in our kitchen. With a variety of food offerings across the resort there is opportunity for continued growth and development of your skills. Currently we have a opportunity available for a passionate Breakfast Chef to join our team working 6am - 2pm. The days of the week that we require your availability would include one or both weekend days, eg you may be working Tues - Sat or Mon/Fri/Sat/Sun.

We offer a high quality dining experience in our Restaurant and have multiple food outlets by our pools, including a Food Van at our Adults only pool, with a strong emphasis on local fresh produce.

We have an opportunity for a Demi Chef or CDP to join our breakfast team. This is a casual position with full time hours available. Your professionalism, commitment and respect will be rewarded by our Executive Chef taking a keen interest in your career and training.

Requirements

• Previous Breakfast chef experience in a luxury hotel/resort or cafe environment working at a Demi Chef or CDP level
• Min of a cert 3 in commercial cookery
• Full availability including weekends and public holidays
• Relevant commercial cookery qualifications
• Able to adapt to busy periods with a sense of urgency
• Able to follow recipes and plan your time accordingly
• Actively demonstrate pride in your work
• Comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards
• Only applicants that have permanent resident status or unrestricted rights to work in Australia will be considered who can commit to at least a min of 6 months.
