We are seeking a Broadcom Data Centre Security Engineer
Open to: Must have Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1)
Location: ACT, NSW, QLD, SA, VIC
Canberra -the work is to be performed at the buyer’s premises. Adelaide-Brisbane-Melbourne-the work is to be performed at the buyer’s premises. (some remote working arrangements may be considered on a case by case basis) Sydney - working arrangements will be considered on a case by case basis.
Role:
The Broadcom Symantec Data Centre Security engineer will have the ability to provide detail design for optimised solution, improve the current implementation of Data Centre Security and guide the team on end to end best practices.
Requirements
Essential Criteria
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in the daily operations and management of Broadcom DCS, including but not limited to identify, isolating and resolving the root cause of the technical support issues, implementing daily health checks and configuring / managing reporting and knowledge transfer to other support staff.
- Strong technical understanding of Broadcom DCS, including configuring and optimising the product.
- Strong understanding of the Essential Eight Application Control mitigation strategy, and the applicable Information Security Manual (ISM) controls, and how to implement them within Broadcom DCS.
- Experience in planning, scheduling, and implementing periodical patch, bug fixes and major system upgrades for Broadcom DCS.
- Experience in upgrading from Broadcom DCS version 6.7.x to 6.9.x
- Perform BAU operations,maintenance and management of Broadcom DCS.
- Planning, scheduling, and implementing periodical patch, bug fixes and major system upgrades for Broadcom DCS.
- Document technical knowledge in the knowledge database (Standard Operating Procedures), update detailed design and as built documentation.
