AddressThis work includes administering and updating the department's Budget Estimates system - TM1 GEUS, compiling and forecasting estimates for departmental appropriations, and providing overarching quality assurance of Budget Estimates and appropriation bills.
The key duties of the position include
- analyse and review financial information to provide quality assurance over the Department's Budget estimates
- maintain the Department's external budget within the Department's Budget Estimates system - TM1 GEUS, prepare accurate and timely journals and reconciliations within the Central Budget Management System (CBMS), and answer questions from the Department of Finance
- assist in ad hoc reporting such as for Senate Estimates, Questions on Notice, and other external reporting as requested
- develop and maintain working relationships to promote the smooth exchange of financial information with stakeholders
- contribute to briefs and advice for senior executives and Ministers.
