AddressWe are currently seeking a skilled Building Supervisor with a background in commercial building disciplines, ideally within environments associated with government and defence projects. Our client has a successful track record in design and construction projects and construct-only projects, notably as a "Managing Contractor" on a $700M+ project. We are interested in candidates with experience in similar settings.
The ideal candidate will have experience comparable to these models. In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring the successful completion of building projects managed by other principal contractors. This will involve monitoring compliance with all applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in facilitating communication between the project manager and other project stakeholders, providing essential support throughout the project lifecycle.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Trade background or a Diploma in a relevant field, with experience managing various building projects.
- At least 3 years of experience in a comparable role, with project values of $10M or more.
- Must be an Australian citizen and eligible for defence security clearance.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong project supervision, time management, and organizational skills.
