You will play a pivotal role in administering Building Contracts related to fire safety, pest control, defibrillators, and emergency evacuation plans. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring compliance with the Building Code of Australia, Australian Standards, and local council requirements.
This is a permanent role
Paying: $94k Base + 11% Super + 11k Car Allowance
Flexible working arrangements are available with this role
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
- Degree in Contract Management or related field
- Extensive experience in contract management for fire safety, defibrillators, emergency evacuation, and pest control
- Class C driver's license
- Minimum 3 years of contract management experience
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Commitment to exceptional customer service
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Can do, vibrant, eager attitude
- Accreditation in fire safety
- Pest control technician license
- Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting
- Manage council contracts for Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Fire Protection Systems, Pest Control, Defibrillators, and Emergency Evacuation plans
- Ensure timely completion of Annual Fire Safety Statements (AFSS)
- Maintain accurate records in databases such as DoneSafe and Tech One
- Coordinate volunteer programs if required
- Liaise with contractors and government agencies
- Inspect contract works to ensure compliance
- Validate progress payments and variations
- Advise customers on completion of contract work
- Maintain job-related records
