About the TeamOur Building Operations unit is a diverse and dynamic team dedicated to supporting the community through efficient building operations and asset maintenance services.Be part of a collaborative work environment that values innovation and excellence in service delivery.Job ResponsibilitiesAs the Building Facilities and Contracts Officer, you will be responsible for providing technical advice, managing contracts, preparing project proposals, and maintaining building asset databases. You will also research and develop improvements in asset utilisation policies and practises.Additionally, you will coordinate, monitor, and report on project progress, respond to customer inquiries, and ensure building assets meet agreed service levels and standards.About YouOur ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the building industry or facility management, along with a Building Diploma or equivalent qualification. You should possess strong knowledge of asset management principles, building legislation, and WHS policies.

• Experience in managing contracts and preparing asset maintenance schedules
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in related computer applications
• Ability to convert customer service levels to technical service levels
