City Presentation delivers a range of services that provide clean, well-presented public spaces in the Penrith Local Government Area. About the role

This position plays an important role in ensuring Councils Buildings are well maintained and meet legislative requirements. The successful applicant will be involved in ensuring Buildings Programmed Maintenances carried out within the specified timeframes and in accordance with the contracted schedule of rates.

The position requires the occupant to work closely with the Building Programmed Maintenance Team to:

Plan, co-ordinate, prioritise and ensure quality control across delivered Scheduled Maintenance programs on Councils Building Assets.
Carry out site Audits on Council Buildings to ensure schedules have been delivered in accordance with contractual agreements.
Administrative duties including invoicing, test result capturing, data updating and creating work orders.
Initiating corrective works where required.
Availability to act at a higher capacity when required.

Essential criteria

Relevant Building Trade qualification or relevant building experience.
Demonstrated experience in building management and maintenance principles.
Previous experience in Scheduled Maintenance.
Previous experience in conducting defect and condition inspections.
Ability to program works, ensure timely completion and documentation of works.
Basic understanding of Fire, Electrical and Plumbing regulations.
Knowledge of work health and safety, risk management practice and principles.
A strong focus on customer service and continuous improvement in service delivery.
Demonstrate positive written and verbal communication, including active listening skills.
A strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite specialising in Microsoft Excel.
Class C Drivers Licence.

Desirable criteria

Knowledge or experience of implementing sustainability principles.
Previous experience in technology One, CRM or other Building Maintenance related systems.

Salary: The salary for this position ranges from $74,809 - $86,595 per annum, plus 10.5% Superannuation, and will be negotiated commensurate with the skills, qualifications and experience of the preferred applicant.

This position requires the worker to be double vaccinated against COVID-19 or to hold a medical contraindication certificate.
