Maintenance And Security Support Officer

Your new company

Our client is a Public Sector Authority based on the south side of Brisbane. They are looking to engage a Maintenance and Security Support Officer to join their growing team. This role will provide Security for Public building, as well as helping with maintenance aspects around the community.

Your new role

In your new role, you will be monitoring the City Administration Centre (CAC) precinct and other Council facilities to ensure the safety of the community. You will also be aiding the Security Team Leader and Maintenance Officer in work relating to security, asset maintenance and building services. As well as helping with the CAC Carpool administrative Duties.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in the Security industry, while holding a Queensland Security Licence (Class 1). You will need to have completed the modules of Crowd Controller, Unarmed Security Officer and Monitoring Security Officer, with proof.

As well as:
Great communication skills, ability to keep accurate records and to effectively communicate and deal with people at all levels
Understanding of the implications of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011
C class driving Licence is mandatory

Our client is offering a diverse role, with an opportunity to progress throughout the Authority. Contract is initially until EOFY but will extend based on performance and team fit. Rate is $33.94 an hour, Super on top.
