About the role:
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Building Manager to join our team on a Part time basis, 15 hours per week , managing a residential strata building located in Alexandria for a high demanding client. Reporting to the Facilities Management Director, you will be responsible for managing the effective delivery of all asset maintenance and capital works at this building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of all tasks according to budget and time-frames
- Developing strong relationships with customers and striving for service excellence
- Ensure compliance of by-laws at all times
- Maintain asset management portal for all cases and communications
- Create accurate reports for all key stakeholders
- Attend meetings with key stakeholders
- Manage all trades in a timely manner and according to budget
- Upkeep of all WHS standards and regulations
What we are looking for:
The successful candidate needs to have at least Five (5) years Building/Facilities management experience together with:
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise a number of competing tasks
- Effective and timely communication skills with all levels
- Positive and proactive financial management in accordance with budget and delivery times
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of current WHS regulations
- Willingness to lend a hand on site when/if required
