About the role:
Building Strong Foundations (BSF) for Aboriginal Children, Families and Communities services provide a free, culturally safe and appropriate early childhood health service for Aboriginal children from birth to school entry age and their families. The Tamworth BSF team consists of Aboriginal Health Workers and Child and Family Health Nurses - together you will be working in partnership with families, parents, carers, and the local community to support health, growth and development of Aboriginal children, so they are able to fully engage in life and learning.
To help you thrive in the role, learning and training needs will be met through online learning platforms, as well as support from Clinical Nurse Specialists. This part time position provides a service delivery in the Tamworth area Monday – Friday.

About You:
Our ideal candidate is energetic, enthusiastic, and dedicated to Closing the Gap. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and has a passion for rural health. You are a dedicated Registered Nurse with a Post Graduate Certificate in Child and Family Health Nursing (or nearing completion) and a car licence with the willingness to drive varying distances for work related purposes.

Requirements:
- Qualifications as a Registered Nurse with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA and Graduate Certificate or equivalent qualification in Child and Family Health Nursing (or enrolled and currently working towards completion).

- An eligibility list will be created for future permanent part time and temporary part time vacancies.
- To be eligible for permanent employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport.
